That's being REALLY picky, but being less picky is the French.<br />Saying "Excusé moi, vous voulez" literally translates as formally saying "Excuse me, you would." It could be a shortened version of "Excusé moi, si vous voulez," which would be "Excuse me, if you would."<br />What you were probably hearing, which really does mean "Excuse me, if it pleases you" is "Excusé moi, s'il vous plait" which sounds surprisingly similar when you say it quickly.<br /><br />Anyway, that's all. I hope things continue to go swimmingly.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14065572329368328386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3678958117215369214.post-71599490527092004722010-03-20T22:01:29.880+00:002010-03-20T22:01:29.880+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14065572329368328386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3678958117215369214.post-24651735138003416692010-03-20T22:00:11.099+00:002010-03-20T22:00:11.099+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14065572329368328386noreply@blogger.com
